 The words printed on this shirt are a prayer. It is a prayer for change among those of us who claim Christianity. Our heart grieves at the frequency that Believers in Christ divide over petty issues that have nothing to do with the core message of the gospel or true doctrine. Too often, we get trapped in our own fishbowl. The walls of a local church seemingly lock together. How often do we ever step onto another Church campus other than our own? Take part in a ministry that is not directly associated with everyone in our circle of friends? The heart of the message is not to church-hop, but to seek true unity among our brethren. Just because we have the banner of a church over us, does not mean we can’t get trapped in a click. And in judgments towards others that don’t look like us, worship like us, or preach in the same style. Let’s break the fishbowl. Attend a concert at a church other than your own. Support a ministry. Encourage and get to know believers within your community regardless of what church they drive to on Sunday morning. The words on the shirt state: I shall escape: these preconceived notions of contentment. The false pretenses of this clique: the hypocrisy, the politics, and the pride.

Gilbert Location Closing
After two years at the Gilbert, Arizona shop, Typecast Clothing will close its retail location. Our online store will remain open at www.typecastclothing.com and will exclusively feature our own line of clothing and accessories.
